in_reply_to_status_id not applied when calling statuses/update

Hi there,

I’m having an issue using the ‘statuses/update’ endpoint.

The ‘in_reply_to_status_id’ field is filled with the id_str of the tweet I want to reply to but when posted the tweet doesn’t appear as a reply on Twitter. Using the ‘statuses/show’ endpoint I can see that the ‘in_reply_to_status_id’ field is null.
This was working perfectly until today.

Please include more details about what code/library you are using and and example in_reply_to_status_id value that didn’t work.

Hi @abrahamn thanks for you reply.
We’re not experiencing the issue anymore since this morning. That’s strange because we didn’t change anything.
