Importing email contacts to Twitter

Hey there,

I have a big database of email addresses in my Gmail contacts (about 20 000) and I would like to see which people in this list have a Twitter account that I could follow.
Is there a way to do this??
I already tried to import my Gmail database on Twitter but it shows an “error” message.
Maybe it is because the database is too big?

There’s no API interface to allow this, and we cannot offer support for the Twitter.com website, mobile.twitter.com, Twitter Lite, or the iOS and Android mobile apps via these developer forums. Please check help.twitter.com instead.
