Images of whitelisted blog not showing

good morning! This is my first for a post. I don’t know why images for my blog posts are not showing, even though my blog is whitelisted. Tweets do show blog post summary, but not an image - a blank/empty gray square on the left instead.

here’s a tweet example, showing what I just described [pls click on it so you see the gray empty square]:

This is happening with every single blog post of mine, though. Please help

I’m going to assume that it is either because your image file has a space in the filename, or that it is because the image is not on an https:// url, or both of these things.

my image file does not contain spaces :frowning: does it really have to be http:// instead of https:// ? how do I make it that way? my file didn’t convert to https:// when I uploaded it…

I set up my twitter cards(summary large images) through WordPress SEO. Hope that helps… I really can’t find what’s the issue, why my images aren’t showing through the card…

thanks again

PS. all my blog image files DO include regular http:// in the beginning of the URLs (not encrypted)

<meta name="twitter:card" content="summary_large_image">
<meta name="twitter:site" content="@LatinAbroad">
<meta name="twitter:title" content="Koh Tao Attractions: My Top 15 Sites, Eats + Activities">
<meta name="twitter:description" content="My top 15 Koh Tao attractions, including day trip ideas and restaurant recommendations from my 18 days around the island.">
<meta name="twitter:image" content=" BLOG.jpg">

IMG_1590 BLOG.jpg has a space character in the path (between 1590 and BLOG). That could be causing the issue, I’m not sure. If some of your other pages work, then let me know the links and I can check what the differences are.

hello Andy. I have switched the main photo by uploading one with a filename that contains underscores, not blank spaces.

Still, same issue: summary shows up, but with empty gray square on the left instead of my selected large photo. Please help :frowning:

If you edit an existing page, it may take up to seven days for the Cards crawler to find your new version.

got it. I’ll wait a week and see what happens. Thanks Andy, I’ll keep you posted
