I’ve been approved for using the card “summary_large_image” and only recently noticed that the large image isn’t appearing. After doing some research, it looks like the robots.txt was blocking access to our files folder. I’ve since whitelisted Twitterbot but still nothing is showing up.

How recently did you make the change, and are you sharing new, or existing URLs?

Per the Cards Troubleshooting page, the crawler caches information for around 7 days so you may need to be patient while the change ripples to existing URLs.

Thanks. I missed that fact about the propagation time. I made the changes this morning and it was an old article. I thought running it through the card validation with a unique hash would’ve been sufficient. I’ll wait to see if it changes and report back.
