#1

Hey there everyone I’m not sure if this is the right place but I really want to set up quick replies for my mental health awareness account but I’m not sure where to start I’ve searched google and it looked very complicated to me and I’m still not sure exactly what I have to do and I hope someone would be willing to help me thank you

I hope this is the right place to post this

Quick Replies for DMs like this? https://developer.twitter.com/en/docs/direct-messages/quick-replies/api-reference/options eg: https://twitter.com/i/moments/793636260158005248?lang=en

Or are you talking about just standard Tweet Replies? https://developer.twitter.com/en/docs/tweets/post-and-engage/api-reference/post-statuses-update (where you set tweets ids to reply to)

It sounds like a lot of the “Customer Support” documentation is relevant to your bot - it might make finding relevant things easier

yes i think it would be the top one you sent me because if someone wanted some like lets say suicide hotlines they would click the option suicide hotlines in dm and it would reply with a message back to them with a list of numbers and websites for countries etc and other replies would be for like mental health coping mechanisms if that makes sense and thank you and another question I’ve had my developer application under review for more than 4 months now and I don’t know exactly what I’ve done wrong and I wasn’t sure what type of account I need to get the quick replies in DMS either and I hope everything I’m saying makes sense as i am not the best at explaining things

For the long waiting time maybe worth asking again to resend an email you may have missed or something in https://twittercommunity.com/c/developer-portal/none

Just be aware that “Health” is one of the use cases that’s more strictly controlled - and i assume mental health falls under that too - so it’s worth investing some thought and time into reading about privacy & user data around that - to make sure that you’re not collecting or doing things without a purpose or something else potentially harmful https://developer.twitter.com/en/developer-terms/more-on-restricted-use-cases

I found the email I missed and they have now accepted my application and thank you for letting me know about the user data and privacy I always make sure of that anyways but I’m glad you let me know just in case I didn’t already and I’m just super confused how exactly I set the quick replies up now lol as I’ve never set something up like this before
