I think i have done it right, but it does not validate

#1

Hello,

I have applied for a ‘summary’ with the following metatags:

http://authorsdb.com/authors-directory/17637-jd-kaplan

Meta tags:

  <meta name="twitter:card" content="summary"/>
  <meta name="twitter:site" content="@authorsdb"/>
  <meta name="twitter:creator" content="@authorsdb"/>
  <meta name="twitter:title" content="JD Kaplan"/>
  <meta name="twitter:description" content="this is the description"/>
  <meta name="author" content="JD Kaplan"/>

But i get the response:

The URL you provided for authorsdb.com to use the summary card did not validate. Please make sure the page contains valid metadata, then reapply for a Twitter card.

Can someone from twitter please help out because this card configuration is taking up all my time

@snowinstructors, the meta tags you mention are not in the HTML source at the URL you provided.

#3

Yes they are, i see them through firebug:

Please see the attached screenshot:

They are not rendering for my browser or for the Twitterbot. Notice in the attached screenshot, there are no twitter meta tags. The search in the bottom/left has found 0 results.

Sorted it out. It was a cache issue of the component used. I set a workaround and now it works. Thank you for your feedback.
