I favorited tweets from my app and now I’m now getting this error message: “It’s great that you like so many updates, but we only allow so many updates to be marked as a favorite per day. (More info can be found here http://support.twitter.com/articles/15364-about-twitter-limits-update-api-dm-and-following)”
To my knowledge there’s no favorite limit though, what’s going on? That page they linked also provides no info.
Accounts have allowances to the number of favorites they can create per day – it’s not really an API limit so much as just an upper bounds on accounts. The limit may change some day but it’s not possible to waive it.
Do you know what these upper bounds are approximately so I don’t reach them?
We don’t publish them. You should be able to do several hundred but not in the thousands.
