As the title suggests. Creating a bot that posts information about weather data. Sent in my application 2 nights ago. I haven’t received an email saying my application was accepted or received but I have access to the Twitter API key in the ‘Apps’ section of the developer portal. Am I missing something or has my account been accepted?

It seems you do have access. You double-check the email inbox that you had associated with your @handle when you applied for an email with the following address:
developer-accounts@twitter.com
It may have come in via your spam folder.
