I’m using a timeline created by the factory via twttr.widgets.createTimeline(…) in a single page website. I would like to stop the widget requests when the container disappears.
How could I do this?
I’ve seen a couple of questions about this in StackOverflow, but none of the answers are good enough.
How to stop twooter timeline widget from polling - The answer assume that is possible to change the size of the widget.
How to setup the timeout before a refresh on Twitter embedded timelines? - The different answer is just increasing the poll time, not stopping it.
Is there any official solution? The continuous request are unnecessary in some cases.
In addition, when the request is made using MsEdge I’m getting a console.error because
