How to search for hashtags

Hi,

I’ve got a tool whereby when the user is typing their message with hashtags, I’d like to get some statistics about the use of that hashtag over the last few weeks / months.

Is this sort of data available?

Additionally, I’d like to offer related keywords that are perhaps more popular - again is this available from Twitter?

Currently there is no way to get stats about a specific hashtag using the REST API.
There is no API endpoint for related hashtags either, as far as I know.
