Hi. We are using Summary Cards with Large Image for our website, and they are mostly working. However, the images are not optimized. The images are scaled to the maximum width, centered vertically, then the top and bottom are cropped.
Is there any way to have twitter ‘letter box’ the image instead, so that you see the full image with padding instead of being cropped?
If not, what is the optimal size of the image? I’ve found that 876x440 works somewhat, just by some guessing, but it appears to be cropped on all sides by about 10 pixels. Is there any way to prevent that?
