How to know if user has media in creatives


Hello, I noticed at most campaign objectives require a metric that uses MEDIA metric group. It also says only to use media if the user uses media in creatives. How can I check if the user has media used in creatives? If they don’t, should I just exclude any metrics that depend on media_views?

Media is generally considered to be the visual part of creative, instead of just a text tweet. Here is the announcement blurb from our recent changes page:

Media Views metrics are now available through our analytics endpoints. Media Views encompass all views (autoplay and click) of embedded media, across videos, Vines, GIFs, and images. These include both billed and earned views.
