lol, just lose 2 hours of work integrating twitter with my site and when I reached the step where I save the email… then surprise!, will leave it out until the API retrieves the user email, for now is USELESS.

I don’t really get this. I login to many sites once using my FB acc, once Google, and I’m still connected as the same user.
As a user you don’t want to care which provider you choose, you always want to login as yourself. And at both fb, google or stackexchange I have the very same email registered, so the apps I’m using are able to connect them with my account there. You know, email is unique in case you forgot that. If I’d login with twitter, the apps would create a new account for me. I don’t want that.
Btw I don’t really know why I’m writing this. No decision making people are reading these threads, and the people who usually do, they’re not enough assertive or motivated to get the message through. That’s the reason they’re reading this, and not making decisions. Make sense, huh?

Well, no email address as response, no “Login with Twitter” for Pixabay.com. We have Facebook, Google and Microsoft logins, though. Go fish, Twitter! Who the hell is making such unwise decisions in your team?
Just want to register another complaint about this.
No email = no Twitter login, which is a shame.
If a registered user makes login with twitter nobody can associate this user with a registered user! For users login with several methods this is confused. bad issue…
The best solution is not implements twitter login.
This is a pity.
I forgot the email address I used to create my account and now I can’t login nor retrieve my password hence I opted to opening this account. Is there a way I can get the email adress from people following me in other account?? Please help

After wasting time implementing twitter sign in, now I am removing it. Without email address, its useless.
You should put in your API Doc in bold letters that you don’t provide email address.
It should be the first sentence in your doc. #TwitterFail

Whats the point if we can’t access email address? The need of a registration is “We need to auth the user. And connect him later”. Maybe sometime user will quit twitter but not that some other website that he was using signed up by twitter. Just meaningless act.

Same here, Have to take out twitter login support just because email verification is mandatory for my web application… Is Twitter Listing us???
would help me too, until then I’m dropping signin with twitter. wish i had read more thoroughly before spending a day implementing sign in with twitter.
Likewise–for our app we have out-of-the-box API external login support with email claims for google, facebook, and windowslive OAuth flows. But because twitter Oauth flows do not provide for email scope, we will NOT provide twitter login feature, until such time when twitter provides email claim or we get resources to augment the out-of-the-box API we are using for external login for our application.
