How to get all retweet ids (more than 100) of any tweet

Hi,

I am building an application, where I need to collect the user ids of people who are retweeting the content my application tweeted.
I read that, current REST API returns only recent 100 ids of users that retweeted. Are the returned ids based on the time they retweeted, i.e the first 100ids that retweeted recently and next 100 ids… so on??

Is there any solution to get all the user ids whoever retweeted? Is it possible with enterprise APIs?

I assume that you are referring to this endpoint.

Yes there is, but you will have to use a Premium or Enterprise API. You can either use the retweets_of: operator and in your system, filter for just those Retweets that are associated with the Tweet in question. You can also use the "phrase match" operator with the full original Tweet text and use the is:retweet operator to filter for just operators.

In both cases, you will have to look for the proper user ID within the Tweet payload that you receive.

I suggest you use either the Premium or Enterprise Search product if you go this route.

I don’t have a good answer to your question on how we choose which IDs to deliver via that endpoint. I’ll see if I can find someone that does.

And also please clarify this query also, are those returned retweet ids based on chronological order?

I can’t speak to the chronological order of the results of the GET statuses/retweeters/ids endpoint.

If you were to use the Premium or Enterprise Search APIs, you could use this query as an example:

The Premium and Enterprise Search APIs serves Tweets in reverse chronological order.
