The Premium API is a separate API to the web and Standard search, the relevant operators are marked “Premium” for a paid premium package and “Sandbox” for the free one: Operators by product | Docs | Twitter Developer Platform
Unfortunately there is no way to have an equivalent of result_type=popular in premium search.
