Hi

I needed some help please. Regarding Tailored audience, I had listed listed 120 twitter handles in a csv file and uploaded in audience manager page. But it was still showing ‘Audience too small’ status and still not available under target options.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks,

Hi,

Can any one help me in the above issue please.

Thanks,

Hi @sandeepsaripali ,

Sorry for not responding this earlier.
You might hit this specification in that case:

An audience can only be targeted if it matches at least 100 users active within the past 90 days on Twitter-owned and -operated clients. GET accounts/:account_id/tailored_audiences/:tailored_audience_id will indicate if an audience may not be targeted because it matches too few users.

Could you please provide us your Ads account id and the Tailored Audience id in question?

Hi @jrsyo

Thanks for the reply.

I had listed nearly 120 Twitter users usernames in csv and uploaded under audience manager. As you mentioned that those users need to be active within past 90 days. Is there any way to test to test in sandbox mode.

Below are the Ads account details
Ads account id : 18ce54sj2ha
Tailored Audience id : 2yy9a

Reason not listed was mentioned as below

[reasons_not_targetable] => Array
(
[0] => TOO_SMALL
)

One more question please, can I target specific people list (Twitter users) from my application, i.e what API end point I need to use please, used ‘SIMILAR_TO_FOLLOWERS_OF_USER’ target type to follower like-alikes, does I need to use the same end point with twitter users userids?

Thanks

@sandeepsaripali

I looked up your TA data and confirmed TA ID: 2yy9a (TA LIST 18-03) has 0 users match while another TA ID: 2yxg6 (TA LIST 16-03) has 45 users match. Just curious what was the difference between these. Did you use the same user list file? or a different list?

Is there any way to test in sandbox mode.

No, I don’t think so.

I’m sorry but I’m afraid I may not understand your question correctly. If you want to target specific users based on your own lists then you have to create TA list first as you’re trying to do so right now. And then, you need to specify TAILORED_AUDIENCE as a targeting_type parameter

Hi @jrsyo

Thanks for the quick reply.

Yes, both the difference sheets, one sheet (TA LIST 16-03) contains twitter users name with ‘@’ prefix for user names, where as other sheet (TA LIST 18-03) contains twitter users names with out prefix. As TA LIST 18-03 contains 120 users list and as you said only 45 users match. I will try with more users list.

I was planning to list my own twitter list in my own application development target page rather than upload then under Twitter audience manager, can I select those users and target then to the line item. What end point I need to user in this case please.

Thanks,
