Totally ridiculous. I have one twitter account for the organisation I work for, and one twitter account for my personal website. Both of which I want to use the API, but I can only have one or the other as I cant reuse my mobile number!
So I have to choose between using my personal number for the company I work for, or using my number for my personal website! What happens if I want to manage the twitter accounts for other organisations?!
Why do I even need to give a phone number? According to your official response, found at https://dev.twitter.com/discussions/4236 , the account doesn’t need to be a “human being”.
Why is a phone number required for a ‘non-human’ account?
