How to authorize twitter account for my wordpress

My wordpress.org sites says “authorize your Twitter account”…I don’t know what this means. I’ve tried everything.

I only want to have my twitter feed show up in my wordpress.org website. I’ve jumped hoops…first with the “setting up of an application” only to be blocked by this step.

What plugin is forcing you to authorize with Twitter? The official Twitter WordPress plugin shouldn’t require any authentication. https://wordpress.org/plugins/twitter/
