I’m just doing a hobby project to take some experience in Twitter bot development and I can’t find the correct way to add or gain access to relevent API’s to receive webhook event on a mention in my account. Can someone please direct me to the correct path ?

Oh, you will have to get approved for an “Elevated” access that gives you v1.1 and v2 APIs as opposed to “Essential” which only gives you v2 API https://developer.twitter.com/en/portal/products/elevated

I have Elevated access I think, but I can only see “Twitter API v2” in the left side menu under the “Products”. does this means I have access to “Account Activity API” ?

That is the v2 API configurations, you should be able to see https://developer.twitter.com/en/account/environments to configure v1.1 Premium environments
