Good morning I am seeing my work has their own company name as their source label on their tweets when they post stories from their Wordpress site. I am wondering how I can get mine done.
Those tweets are posted with the API, with the app name set to whatever is configured on “App Name” on https://developer.twitter.com/en/apps for the application that’s configured in whatever wordpress plugin they’re using.
I want to show my website name as the source on my twitter post on Twitter.com/southarkdaily
Sure - you will need to get a developer account accepted Twitter Developer Platform overview | Docs | Twitter Developer Platform , describe your use case, register an application, and then you can configure a wordpress plugin with your own application keys, or use your own code to post tweets - that will fill in the source field.
Only tweets posted by your own application will have the desired source field, web and mobile will not be able to fill in this source field.
