Hi there, MA student here and I’d like to access statistic data, such as number of worldwide tweets for each day of 2020 (or 2021); or just the day with most tweets of a certain week / month / year. I need it to be from a reliable source and I can’t fin it anywhere. Not interested in programming tho, I just want to access data. Anyone can help please? Thank you a lot 
This data isn’t available anywhere in the API unfortunately. You can get estimates however, from the reports for example: Twitter, Inc. - Financial information - Quarterly results where metrics like “monetizable daily active users” are reported - but there are not exact counts of tweets per day - but could serve as an indicator of activity in the same way.
Or you can try to use estimates from something like Twitter Usage Statistics - Internet Live Stats
But there are no official stats that include numbers like this as far as i know.

Thank you for your help! I’ve been on both of them already but unfortunately “Internet Live Stats” only provides data from 2007 to 2013, as far as I understood. I know some marketing sites (like Hootsuite) share their own reports (but those are based on their own clients as well). I was hoping I could find this type of statistic information somewhere as it doesn’t imply having access to the tweets themselves
