How long for changes on site to be reflected in View Summary?

I updated the Description of my Tumblr blog 2 days ago, but these updates are not reflected in the “View Summary” of tweets linking to the URL.

When I do the Tweet Card Test on Card Validator page, its displays correctly now. How long does it take for View Summary to reflect changes at the URL?

Twitter cards are not dynamic. Whatever has already been tweeted is not “updated.” Try tweeting a different page or wait 24 hours before retweeting the same page. https://dev.twitter.com/discussions/17703

Tweeting a different page works. I’ve tried retweeting the same page but I still get the same old description even though it’s been more than 24 hours. Seems like the old desc is cached on the Twitter servers. (Been like 5 days now.)
