How do you get rid of mobile twitter on a desk top computer?

Hi

I’ve just recently joined twitter, but when i go onto the twitter website it takes me to the mobile version ive tried everything to get rid of it and it wont go.
can anyone tell me how to get it to the desktop version.

Are you browsing with an older version of Internet Explorer? Internet Explorer 6 and 7 are not supported by our main twitter.com site, so we redirect to the mobile site to provide basic support. If that’s the case, run Windows Update to get Internet Explorer 8 or above.
