How do I update twitter using cron, PHP and OAuth?

Very new to OAuth so sorry if I don’t know the terminology for this.

Is there a way to update twitter through OAuth using cron and PHP without having to use auth tokens everytime?

I don’t know where to look and could do with a bit of direction.
