How do I fix this: ERROR: Fetching the page failed because the response is too large

This started two days ago out of the blue. All of a sudden twitter went from displaying large twitter cards and summaries to just summaries.

I get the error: ERROR: Fetching the page failed because the response is too large.

I have yoast and everything was fine up until 2 days ago.

How do I fix this. I am not a tech, so I need a simple solution in people language.

The page is 1.5Mb in size which is too large for the validator to handle. Almost all of this is inline CSS and Javascript in the <head> of the page. Did any settings get changed or were any new plugins installed recently? I don’t know what else to tell you in this case.

How do I change it without crashing my site.
