How do I embed a video on Twitter that will autoplay?

I cannot figure out how to upload a video that autoplays on Twitter for the life of me! The video is coming from YouTube and I understand how to upload a video…just not one that autoplays. Can anyone help?

Any video native to the Twitter Platform will autoplay. This includes:

• Video files uploaded on Twitter.com or the Twitter app (i.e. using the camera icon in the Tweet compose window)
• Video files uploaded using the Media API
• Sharing Vines
• Sharing Periscopes

Third-party companies (such as YouTube) take advantage of our Player Card to render a video player when URLs to their site are Tweeted, but these do not autoplay and must be tapped or clicked to start.
