How can we get Promoted Tweet metrics from a Tweet using cards?

Hi there,

We are having trouble linking Card attributes (card name, Website URL) with the Tweet that the Card is applied to. This is preventing us from reporting on metrics (spend, impressions, clicks) for the Tweet.

What is the relationship between the Promoted Tweet and the Card? How can we link the two?

Hey @essenceglobal

All cards must be associated with an Organic or Promoted-Only Tweet and therefore there’s a one-to-many relationship between Promoted Tweets and cards. That is, a single Promoted Tweet can only have a single card associated with it, however a single card may be associated with several Promoted Tweets.

For reporting purposes, you’ll need to use the Promoted Tweet’s id. Hope that helps!
