How can I get my Search Widget to show ALL tweets, not just the popular ones?

Thank you, @kingoro777, I had the same issue and using a modified copy of the JavaScript helped! Unfortunately 3 days after the event where I needed it, but at least it’s useful for the future…

for me when i edit the js file, tweets seem to be shown in latest order, which is great, but i have all the timestamps shown in seconds, for example 3500 seconds ago…if i edit my won html that contains the widget code, and disable time stamp, it dont work. Also, applying that change above to the js file for me, shows the tweets in a funny format…did this happen for everyone else ?

you download it from here:http://widgets.twimg.com/j/2/widget.js

then store it locally, i.e in your widget code change the following:
http://widgets.twimg.com/j/2/widget.js

to

widget.js

and make sure the widget.js file you have changed, is now in the same directory as the html page that loads the widget. since my htmp file that loads the widget is in my home directory, i just copy the widget.js into same.

but as i say, doesnt work for me as shows all times in seconds, so trying to figure out how old a post from 23432 seconds ago is a bit confusing

Tried the above and still not working for me. Just going to remove the widget now, which is a pity as it was working well for months. Any idea why Twitter changed things for search widgets?

I’m having the same problem with the new search widget, but my old code is fine and working ok if anyone wants to use it until a fix is found.

You only have to change a few lines to suit your site.

search: ‘#SANDY OR #HURRICANE OR #WEATHER’, <-- change the words to what you want
title: ‘YOUR TITLE HERE’, <-- Title of your search
subject: ‘YOUR SUBJECT GOES HERE’, <— subject of your search
