Hide Twitter cards

Hi there, I use to insert links in my tweets, but I would like them to appear essential and ‘clean’. How to IMPEDE cards appearing in the tweet? Thank you very much

Can you stop cards (and especially those noisy photos) popping up when you’re tweeting and linking a news article? Is there a workaround, somehow? (I know that I personally can use tweetdeck to stop images appearing (but that service is inferior to me).
