Hide Image (inline-media) in embedded timeline

#1

I would like to hide the inline-media class that holds images on the embedded timeline. I tried using data-src-2x=“false” , target the class in the iframe with display:none with CSS and .hide() method with jQuery to no avail. Could not see any customisation options for this in the documentation. Anybody else have this problem?

Remove data-src=“false” works.

I answered this in another thread, but you can hide pre-expanded images from the settings page: Just uncheck “Auto-expand photos”.

Unchecking the auto expand photos doesn’t seem to work for me. Are you sure its still working?

  1. Visit the configuration page for your user timeline widget corresponding to the widget ID. https://twitter.com/settings/widgets
  2. Uncheck the “Auto-expand photos” checkbox.
  3. Save changes.
