Help with brazilian application suspension

I’m one of the developers of a Brazilian website: Our website help brazilian users to create, promote and enter Twitter contests, and it’s very popular here in brazil. We have around 150.000 active users and more than 3.000 thounsand contests (offered by different twitter users).

Unfortunately, it was suspended 09/16. The reason given by twitter team was that we were breaking Twitter Terms of Service by letting users being part of more then 5 contests per day, what were leading to many users being suspended due to a high number of contest tweets. We have corrected the application, and now it does impose the 5 contests per day limit, but unfornately the support team does not change theirs mind and won’t remove our OAuth suspension.

We would like anyone in the twitter api team to review our web application and see how it’s very used, active and loved by the brazilian twitter community. You can search for references for “TwitPromo”, “TwitPromoNews” and our website ( Please, someone help us to recover our account. We are not a rogue application, we are just a complementary twitter service very used by brazilian social media professionals.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Unfortunately we cannot publicly discuss the reasons behind a specific application’s suspension. Please follow the process outlined here: and one of our support agents should respond to your ticket promptly.
