We’re not sure what is going on here…
A post we tweeted seems to lead to users being taken to the wrong article on our site due to a redirect issue linked to Twitter’s t.co shortener.
See attached screenshots and this tweet’s replies: https://twitter.com/firefox/status/912719892477906945
Thanks for the message, Matt - not sure about this one, but I’ll ask the team related to t.co to see if this is a known issue.
Thanks. The issue occurs when i tap the homepage url in our @thenextweb bio (when in Twitter’s iOS app). It sends me to a random old article, even though the url is literally only thenextweb.com!?
We identified an issue where when parsing the AMP page from https://thenextweb.com/tech/2017/09/26/mozillas-firefox-quantum-browser-is-ridiculously-fast/#.tnw_f… was pointing to the old https://thenextweb.com/shareables/2010/06/13/steve-jobs-never-offered-freedom-from-drugs/?amp=1 and that’s why it was being redirected incorrectly. We apologise for the problem here!
