Has embedded timeline widget stopped showing images?

Try as I can, posting from HootSuite into one Twitter account (which is the stock embedded timeline widget on my web site) and one Facebook profile and a related Facebook page, I cannot get ow.ly-hosted images to show up in the embedded timeline widget feed. About 30 hours ago and before it worked fine.

I can get an ow.ly URL to the image, an ow.ly URL to an Open Graph compliant web page with an og:image meta-tag, but no more embedded, inline images.

Has something changed, or am I suddenly missing something?

I can see that no one from Twitter is paying any attention to this “Discussion” forum.

Or is this question simply too technically-complex?
