Grailbird on Github?

I really like the Grailbird HTML/JavaScript/CSS application that comes with the personal archive download. I was wondering if it might make sense to put it on Github to allow developers to add functionality, or at least to provide an un-minified version that would make it clearer how to use it programatically.

I work as a software developer in a library/archive and can see Grailbird as being a viable option for preserving the content of a donor’s tweets. I can also imagine visualization layers, such as maps, timelines, etc that would be fun to add to the application, as plugins.

I wrote a little bit about this idea at if you would like more information about where I am coming from.

Thanks for your time!
