Getting rid of Twitter and spam

Can you stop me receiving spam and pornography from fake accounts? I keep receiving “private messages” with links to suspicious pages. The sender seeems to be a relative to me (@linda_rosengren) but she is guaranteed not the sender. I want to get rid of Twitter altogether and regret deeply that I once signed in. Here are a few of those messages:

These spam DMs are sent by bad apps. The user’s site hasn’t been hacked. They have authorized an app that is sending spam through their account. They need to revoke any app that they do not trust. If the spam continues, they can revoke apps they don’t need until it stops.

If you receive one of these DMs, help out the sender by warning them that they have approved a bad app. Probably have no idea that their account is being used this way.

Any idea which app the k6.kz spam is coming from? I revoked all but the android app and Tumblr. I really hope it isn’t Tumblr.

I’ve had this for sometime… what are twitter doing about it?!
