Getting my account white listed for REST API

Hi All,

We are planning to develop app that would consume the Twitter API and the app would make frequent calls to the REST APIs, however found some article which specifies about rate limit for REST APIs. https://dev.twitter.com/rest/public/rate-limits

Also saw few post (back dated) which discusses about possibility of getting the account whitelisted to over come the rate limit.

Can someone help me in understanding this.

Can you explain what your app will do and why it can’t do that within the default rate limits?
