Getting "An unknown error occurred" (#1000) in GetDircectMessages

Today, my app that has been running for well over a year starting getting this error message when retrieving direct messages. The same app can send direct messages, get mentions, get timeline, send tweets, etc. without difficulty.

I have the same app running on a different twitter account and its fine.

Any idea what I should do to rectify?

That does not look like an error directly from the Twitter API. What library are you using?

You are right, mea culpa! I diagnosed it further and the problem is the JSON library that I am using doesn’t like what twitter is sending it. So, case closed, at least from it being a twitter problem.

Cool - I’ll leave this thread open for a bit in case there’s a follow-up from a Twitter API perspective.
