Getting all tweets from given user, Premium tier?

Hello,

I’m considering buying access to the Premium API for a research project where I want to get all tweets from a list of 200 users since 2013. Is this possible? Also, I also wanted to confirm if this particular version allow getting the reply count.

Sorry if this is a basic question, I’m relatively new at this, and I want to make sure I’m not spending money on something that’s not going to fit my needs.

• Could you clarify what you mean by “reply count”? With the counts endpoint, you can get counts data (data volumes) for a specified query. You can see what operators are available to build queries with the premium search APIs in our documentation here. But note that the is:reply and in_reply_to_status_id: operators are not available with the premium APIs.

• Queries to the paid version of the premium Search API can be up to 1024 characters long. If you’re looking to get all Tweets from a list of 200 users since 2013, you will probably have to split this into several separate queries.

• The data endpoint gives you access to Tweets since 2006.

Thank you for you for getting back to me so quickly and I apologize for not being a little bit mote detailed in regards to what Im trying to do. In a nutshell, my research project entails getting, from a list of 200 users, all tweets made by these since 2013, alongside Rt, favorite and reply counts (as in the amount of messages that other users left per tweet) to each of these.

So thats the gist of it regarding my needs. So thats what Im trying to confirm before I make my purchase.

Hi @wtfapb - with the Full Archive Search API (data endpoint) you can use the from: operator to collect all Tweets and Retweets from a list of given users, going back all the way to 2006 (please note that rate limiting applies depending on which level of usage you pick).

For each of these Tweets/Retweets, you can see how many times the Tweet/Retweet was liked, retweeted or replied to. You can see this by looking at the following fields in the response payload: favorite_count, retweet_count and reply_count.
