Getting 420 error on streaming API

Hi, I’ve been streaming Tweets successfully for a while now but recently the app received a 420 rate limit error. Every time the app backs off and waits (currently for an hour) it will then stream about 50 or so tweets before receiving the 420 error again

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated

I’m not clear on the process you’re describing… are you saying that you connect to the streaming API, receive ~50 Tweets, and then (with an open stream) there’s a 420 error? You’re receiving the 420 error on an open stream, rather than on connection? I’ve only seen the 420 on connection, not during an existing connection.
