Hello,
The trends/place API seems to be returning old data for past few hours. The created_at value is stuck at 2018-09-20T19:45:22Z for woeid 1(whereas as_of value is ‘2018-09-21T06:08:50Z’) and has not updated since.
trends/place
created_at
2018-09-20T19:45:22Z
as_of
Could someone check this please?
Thanks.
Looks like the issue is fixed(about an hour ago)- the API is returning latest trends.
The same thing is happening to me. Since 2018-09-20 19:45:22 the trends are frozen in several geographies. I hope @andypiper can help us out.
Which WOEID is affected? It sounded as though this had resolved itself for WOEID 1 per the above posts.
Andy, thanks for your promptly answer. In my case, even WW (woeid = 1) is stalled. The list includes the following woeid - but is not limited to- 23424950, 23424801, 23424787, 23424924, 23424819, 23424982, etc.
That seems super unusual. I am dealing with a number of other things right now so I’m unlikely to be able to dig until next week, if you are relying on this endpoint I’d encourage you to try reconnecting from elsewhere in case there’s some kind of caching causing the issue; it is a standard API so there’s no formal support we are able to offer.
Yes, I think that in the past this situation was caused by a regional cache problem. Unfortunately, I can not change the origin of the call at this time. I agree with you that this is a “super unusual” situation. Thanks for your answer.
It is working ok again
