I have to use GET statuses/user_timeline. Is authentication required?

I’m also using GET statuses/user_timeline and i’m using application-only authentication, is this supported or I should use user authentication?

I’m sending this two headers and getting 400 error code:

header['Authorization'] = 'Bearer '+ bearer_token

Is this correct?
