GET Search API Authentication. How?

#1

I have a small personal Twitter project. It’s been working for about a year using the search.json API.

The other day, it started asking for authentication. I went through the whole process of getting consumer keys and access tokens and all of that. But I can’t figure out how to get it to work. The code before made a very basic GET request of the search function.

Basically, it looked like this:

https://api.twitter.com/1.1/geo/search.json?q="this"

Now it seems I need to get my auth code into that GET request, but how? Unfortunately, I didn’t write this app, and when it comes to the Twitter interface, I’m lost. I’d much rather just modify my query. Is this possible?
