GET direct_messages by recipient screen name

Is it possible to list recent messages from a specific conversation and chat as you provide the recipient username or id?

Currently I can use PHP get direct_messages but it lists the last 1 message from each conversation I have. I would like to list messages from specific conversation, and I have been looking online and no luck.

No, that’s not possible in the DM API. Since you can only have one DM conversation with an individual at one time, it’s up to your app to keep track of those separately. GET direct_messages doesn’t provide the ability to split these up or query them by name.
