Hi,

I am trying to get my twitter account verified, I am working as an Art Director/Designer/Digital Creator. I am based in Egypt. Over the past 12 years of experience in the industry, I have awards and features from behance (the world’s largest creative network), features on Adobe XD Twitter and Facebook accounts of my work and features on Online Design Magazines and some on Instagram Graphic Design Magazines.

I can’t even know where to post the links as it saying I didn’t meet the minimum amount of followers. So what is the minimum amount of followers that I need to have to get verified as an Art Director (please note that some accounts are verified with way less followers than me).

I just need to know how to verify my account and what is the minimum amount of followers for Digital creator to get verified.

You’re unlikely to get help here, as the forum is more for Developers using the Twitter API, not for using twitter as such.

However, there’s Twitter verification requirements - how to get the blue check that outlines the requirements for “Content creators and influential individuals” which i think is closest to what you’re asking about:

  • Account meets criteria for significant platform presence (top .05% of mentions or follower count) in their geographic region

And there’s a bunch of other extra requirements you have to fulfill, so it’s not just about follower numbers alone.
