Hello,

I want to creat a twitter card and get a url like https://cards.twitter.com/cards/

like this website http://www.usj.co.jp/universal-cool-japan2016/

If i just put the twitter cards meta tag and whitelist my url with https://cards-dev.twitter.com/validator,
it work, but I don’t get the twitter url of the card

Did i missed a step ?

You do not need a URL in that format in order to use Twitter Cards - you can simply the URL of your site. The cards.twitter.com URLs are usually associated with hosted Cards created via our Ads platform, which are separate from the Cards for embedding in your own site. If you check the Cards documentation, it provides all you need to use summary, summary large image, app and player cards.

Thank you for the answer.

I got confuse with the url name.

The goal was to set a different url in the card than the url of the page wich host the meta element
because the “twitter:url” meta is not listen with a normal twitter card

So it can only be done with a paid Ads campaign ?

twitter:url is not used in any of the current Card types.

If you want a Website card, those are Twitter Ads creative types. If you are happy with a Summary card, then you can create those via meta tags.

Hi Andy!

I have a problem with a Twitter card that I’m trying to implement. I placed this following code in the header tag:

<meta name="twitter:card" content="summary_large_image">
<meta name="twitter:site" content="@bpmsupreme">
<meta name="twitter:title" content="Win a DJ Set Up Worth Over $6,000">
<meta name="twitter:description" content="Delivered Just in Time for the Holidays. Win a Pioneer DJM 900 NXS2, 2x CDJs 2000NXS2, a full year BPM Supreme Membership, and a full djay PRO software license. Enter to win now!">
<meta name="twitter:image" content="https://gallery.mailchimp.com/ab34cbe175a40871ac4fda2a2/images/cdbd1ef4-a590-43cf-aeda-3236ce0dce49.jpg">

The card validator returns the following error: Unable to render Card preview. Are we doing something wrong?
