For the past hour I have not been able to access twitter.com. The status page reports no problem, but I can’t access via desktop browser, firefox, chrome, or iphone. A friend emailed me that she’s having the same problem.

I can not do anything on twitters. Keeps giving me Twitter API is Currently Down.

What is going on?

I’m having the same problem, twitter is down via disktop and apps

Thanks for the note – we’re working to resolve. For service-wide issues, check http://status.twitter.com – it’s usually the most up to date when a wider outage effects Twitter.

I’m up again, Yay. Note: http://status.twitter.com didn’t have a note of the outage, as my original post indicated. At least it didn’t when I looked, and I tried looking several times.
