Find volume of a given search term / filter

Is there a way in the API to find the volume of a given search term. This could be based on the number of hits in last 7 days or a similar period.

Lets say I searched “obama” it would be a high volume search and my search for “copenhagen” would be low volume.

You’d have to call the search API (which allows you to grab results for up to 7 days) and count the number of results yourself.
