Fetch twitter data by category

Hi,

I’m going to implement BigData POC with Twitter Data. So i need to, is there any other way to get the data by Category using Streaming API.

For Example: There are many Twitter account for Insurance Companies. If i fetch the data only “insurance” companies tweets, Followers, Favorites etc, Based on that i can do Visualization with Top 10 Insurance Companies like that.

So anyone please help me out.
