Favorited, retweeted, retweet_count and favorite_count always false and 0

I know there has been a previous discussion about this but it’s 21 weeks old so I wanted to ask it again.

In all the tweets information I’ve collected, all the favorited and retweeted statusses come back as false and all the retweet_counts and favorite_counts come back as 0, even though it’s obvious these tweets have been retweeted or favorited.
In the old threat it was said this was an error within the Twitter API itself, is this still the case or how can I fix this?

I also seem to get have this problem at times. For the most part, favorite_count provides an accurate number, but at times it returns 0 even when the favorite_count is well above 0.

Can you provide the API call you are making to help us try to reproduce the issue?
