I also have issues with setting up Twitter cards.

We are still getting the same error on our end. I understand the fix is pretty fresh, but it hasn’t worked for us yet.

Hi, I’m running into the original “Failed to get a proxied URL for the image” problem when trying to test my img url. My robots.txt seems to be ok. Image size is larger than minimum also.

This is really driving me crazy. I’ve been trying for days, and I get the error “Failed to get a proxied URL for the image” for anything I try on any of the sites I run; and I get “Server error, please try again.” on any link of any site I run.

Sometimes shows “Failed to get a proxied URL for the image” error but sometimes doesn’t.

We are getting this error too. Sometimes the card validates correctly, but most times it returns the error.

Just want to say I was finally able to validate and get approval for the two sites I was working on.

I had to be persistent and try several times (maybe half a dozen) before it stopped showing the errors - but it works eventually.

For those on AWS, I found that putting a CloudFront distribution in front of my s3 bucket cleared up the issue.
